Why Gels? – 3 Reasons: Unlike creams, gels can be used on all skin types, are absorbed more easily into the skin and do not block the pores in oily or combination skin.

Natural? All our gels contain high concentration of herbal extract (10%) with 11% Aloe Vera for an extra rich texture and 3% honey as a natural preservative and moisturizer. The other preservative is grapefruit seed extract and the fragrance comes from natural essential oils and floral waters. Our gels contain no artificial colouring, chemical preservatives or synthetic perfumes.

Gels, in general, could be used on all skin types and are more easily absorbed into the skin. While creams are known to block pores of oily and combination skin.

There are 10 gels as shown below. The composition of each of gel is the same except for the herbal extract, which is unique to each gel. The description against each herbal extract refers to the herbs themselves.

ARNICA

The herb Arnica soothes sore muscles and reduces pain and inflammation. An absolute favourite herbal gel used by sports people, outdoor workers and patients after surgery.

CALENDULA

Calendula is used extensively in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, known for its ability in cell regeneration and stimulating wound healing. Herbalists use it as an anti-inflammatory agent that is not steroidal.

COMFREY

The herb Comfrey is possibly oldest known herbal medicine. Used externally it is effective for poorly healing wounds and skin irritations. Herbalists use it to minimise the formation of scar tissue.

GREEN TEA

Green Tea has a stimulating effect on the skin and has powerful natural anti-oxidant activity, with strong vitamins and minerals. Excellent gel for hands and face.

EVENING PRIMROSE

Evening Primrose is rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). Used for the relief of eczema, breast pain associated with premenstrual syndrome, itching, redness, dryness and other inflammatory conditions.

MYRRH

The herb Myrrh is known to be excellent for stretch marks, skin preservation and minor skin complaints. Recent scientific papers report potential good effects against skin cancer. Myrrh is a great moisteriser that has soothing rose essential oil.

LAVENDER

Lavender exhibits powerful sedative and calming properties. This has to be one of the best massage gels on the market. Reported to have a good effect on acne and after sunburn. Used and love by IPL and clinics.

NEEM

The herb Neem is a popular medicinal tree in India which is also know as "the village pharmacy". It has been reported to have several uses: Good anti bacterial action, antidandruff, anti-lice, anit-pimple, anti-acne, anti-psoriasis and eczema. Popularly used as insect repellant.

WITCH HAZEL

Witch Hazel improves vascular tone, astringent and anti-inflammatory to mucosa; it also protects against oxidative stress and ultraviolet radiation when used topically. Used to treat wounds and stop bleeding.

TEA TREE

Tea Tree is primarily used as a topical anti-infectant. Has been shown to have good anti fungal and microbial activity. It has been shown to be effective against spots, insect bites, nail infections and foot infections.

Gels: The gels' sumptuous aromas can be attributed to the essential oils that have been added not only for their strong perfumes, but also for their benefits to health.
